Dechroming
We offer electrolytic dechroming, a method that effectively removes the existing chrome layer from various types of parts. This is particularly useful prior to powder coating, for example, when a clean and even surface is required for further processing. We often work with automotive parts such as rims and bumpers, but the process is also suitable for other components that need a new surface treatment. The dechroming is performed with great precision to ensure that the underlying metal remains intact and ready for the next step.
Build-up Welding and Post-Processing
When a part has worn down or needs to be rebuilt to restore its function, build-up welding may be the solution. We have extensive experience with this method, in which we weld on new material to restore dimensions, strength, or function. After welding, we ensure that the part undergoes all necessary post-processing—such as grinding, turning, or milling—to restore the correct fit and surface finish. This is a cost-effective solution for extending the service life of machine parts and components.
Do you have anything that’s become warped? We can straighten parts up to Ø300 x 7000 mm. That’s quite substantial, so we can fix most things. As mentioned earlier, milling is also part of our toolkit; for example, we repair bearing seats in cylinder ears, fix keyways, and manufacture new parts as needed.
In cases where material needs to be added, we can assist with build-up welding, and we also handle all post-processing so that everything is ready for use. And if completely new parts are needed? We can take care of that, too. Did you know that we manufacture both machine parts and piston rods from scratch in our workshop in Öjebyn?
