Nordkrom continues its partnership with IVAB
Following an audit conducted by Nordtool —a part of the IVAB Group—has been approved as a subcontractor to IVAB.
The audit team highlighted Nordkrom’s organization, quality, and systematic approach. The report notes, among other things, that Nordkrom has well-developed policies for quality, workplace safety, and the environment, as well as clear procedures for calibration, inspections, and traceability in production.
It also appears that the company has implemented digitization initiatives that streamline and ensure the quality of manufacturing, and that both incoming and final inspections are performed on all products. The production facilities are described as well-organized, with materials clearly labeled and clear acceptance criteria for measurements.
Special attention is given to environmental efforts: Nordkrom holds an environmental permit from the Municipality of Piteå and employs three barrier layers to prevent emissions, cast-in-place floor drains, regular air quality measurements, and annual health checkups for its staff.
